Kyle Maynard is not the type to let excuses stand in the way of his goals. Kyle's first year of wrestling got off to a rough start, in which he lost every single one of the 35 matches he participated in. In his senior year, he went on to win 36 varsity matches, defeating several state place finishers and champions. He ended up ranking in the top 12 in the nation and was later inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Featuring Amigo owner Shelley Peterman Schwarz.

Shelley Peterman Schwarz, a longtime Amigo owner and friend, has never let multiple sclerosis hold her back. A graduate of the University of Wiconsin-Milwaukee, Shelley got her start as a teacher of the hearing impaired, a job she enjoyed for 13 years. Shortly after her MS diagnosis in 1979, mobility restrictions forced her to retire from teaching.

After Patti Katter's husband, Sergeant Ken Katter, returned from serving in Iraq in 2007, her family began adjusting to their "new normal." Ken was injured in the war and lives with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
